MY FIRST TIME DRUNK

I started my 20th year having never been drunk, but I can honestly say that I won’t be ending it that way. Most of my friends will know that I’ve never been a drinker. I’ve never had anything against it, it just never seemed to appeal to me. There’s also the factor that while my fellow classmates in my year at school were all getting out ‘steaming’ for the first time, the people I found myself closest too didn’t. I simply didn’t really have the opportunity to drink.

This is one of my own go-to porridge combos. The banana makes a great natural sweetener and you can even mash half of it into the porridge. The almonds give it some added crunch.

SOURCED BOX | JANUARY REVIEW

If I could live my life just eating breakfast foods and snacks I totally would. I’ve always been a snacker. Probably something to do with having ‘snack time’ ingrained in me from a young age – 10am & 3pm. I may not follow these rigid snack rules now, but you can still catch me snacking throughout the day, especially between lunch & dinner. This year my love for snacking and healthy food has combined. This month Panic! at the Disco released their fifth studio album, ‘Death of a Bachelor.’ I say ‘their’ when I should really say ‘his’ as Brendon Urie is the only remaining member. The new release possesses a completely different sound to that of its predecessors. Listen to the difference between their first two albums and you’ll acknowledge how this will always be expected of the American singer/songwriter.
